...“We stayed for four nights at this hotel. Agreed it could do with a bit of renovation but really we had no complaints. The grounds were lovely and the food was delicious and a good variety. We were pleased to find it was out of town a bit, we loved its location near the old part of Hue which we found fascinating and of course its over the road from the Citadel. Very quiet at night which suits us oldies! Would stay there again without hesitation. The food and the waiting staff at the dining room, very friendly.”

“This hotel is like an old-style resort, a bit runned down and should be renovated since a while. But it has a charmed and is located right next to the famous Citadel. If you want to stay in the noisy and modern new town, this is not the place to go. But for views to the walls of the citadel, Vietnamese markets and to relax in the pool, this is the right place to stay in Hue. The rooms have seen better days but still in a good condition. Some has outdoor space and some are faced to the garden/pool. The restaurant is nice decorated and there is a little pavilion in the garden where food can be served as well. Tours are better booked somewhere else because it’s a bit overpriced at the reception. Internet is available but expensive, so better try of the places around the hotel.”
